In recent years, the dress and textiles of China and Japan have fascinated researchers, museum professionals, and fashion followers alike, offering a vast array of lines of inquiry. “Eastern Exposure” brought together a distinguished group of scholars who presented a selection of case studies examining continuity and innovation in the evolving fashion industries of China and Japan.
